What People's Say About Place

Went to Seattle Sunshine Coffee for the first time. Ordered the iced white chocolate mocha. Very delicious and fresh tasting!!! The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy! Also, outstanding customer service!!! Highly recommended!!! Love love love it !!! I am definitely coming back to support this local coffee shop and it’s closer to my work - what a bonus!!!!

This is a sweet neighborhood spot with consistently good coffee, but the interior could really use a redesign. Right now the seating feels crowded and cluttered and like a cafeteria, which makes it uncomfortable for relaxing or working. An interior refresh could make a huge difference. A more intentional layout with fewer, better-placed tables, some comfortable lounge chairs, and updated work-friendly surfaces would transform the café into a warm, cozy place people want to stay in longer. This shop has so much potential and an improved design would really let it shine.

My partner and I love this spot! I come here all the time- special shoutout to Brynn, Yulia and Ashley for their welcoming energy each time I visit! :)

I recently visited Sunshine Coffee on 35th Ave NE, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The space is warm, inviting, and perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. There’s a two-story setup with plenty of seating, natural light, and a calm vibe that makes it feel like a true neighborhood hangout. The coffee was excellent—I had cappuccino , and it was smooth, rich, and balanced. They also have a great selection of pastries and breakfast options, many of which are locally sourced. I tried Cornetto and it was fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall good energy of the place. Whether you're just stopping in for a quick drink or planning to stay a while, Sunshine Coffee is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Highly recommend!

It was my first time here, and it’s such a cute two-story coffee shop. It was a bit crowded, but I was still able to find a seat. I ordered a café latte and it was good. The vibe was a mix: a few UW students quietly studying and some louder visitors having a meeting. I appreciated that they offer stainless steel cups near the water station. Free street parking is limited, so plan ahead if you’re driving.

Unassuming little coffee shop with seating on two floors. Good drip coffee with a selection of pastries available. Street parking.

This almost became my favorite work from cafe place around the area. There are plenty of seats, plenty of charging outlets available, stable WiFi, and comfortable chair/desk height. There are usually not too crowded in the workdays afternoons, and the volume of music is controlled well.

Great neighborhood coffee shop that opens early, and a nice indoor space for people to socialize and work. It has two floors with plenty of tables and seats (looks a little crowded given the current social distancing situation but must be really fun and lively pre-covid). I had a good cup of latte in the morning, price is reasonable and service was quite friendly.
